An apsara

This is an apsara, a beautiful heavenly being vowed to dance and offer herself as a reward to brave warriors killed in battle (Khmer hinduism). Scheduled by UNESCO as a World Heritage monument, this archaeological site is representative of Khmer art at its apogee. The historical wealth of these pieces may fascinate you… I chose to represent the heavily bombed portions.
